Technical Committee Report on Suction Outlet Safety and the Effectiveness of ANSI/APSP-7: October 5, 2007

This study cites the testing, research, and data collected by the APSP Technical Committee during the development of the ANSI/APSP-7 standard for suction entrapment avoidance and in support of the findings and requirements published in the standard. The report discusses the five known causes of suction entrapment and the three underlying causes.
