New Sponsorship Opportunities for APSP Advanced Service Program
The APSP Service Council is already planning its 4th annual Advanced Service Program, an educational event for pool and spa professionals in November at the 2008 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in Las Vegas. Sponsorship opportunities are available now for companies exhibiting at the 2008 Expo. Click here for the Advanced Service Program sponsorship application. For more information about sponsoring the Advanced Service Program, contact Tracy Beaulieu at 972.536.6366 or tbeaulieu@hanleywood.com.
At the 2007 Expo, the Advanced Service Program was organized by then Service Council Vice Chairman Ed Penfield and his wife, Mary Cole. The 2007 program, which was held in Orlando, Florida, included a range of educational topics for pool and spa service professionals, including chemical automation, technologies to prevent scale and stain formation, global positioning satellite technology for fleet management, the science behind oxidation, and a SeaWorld "Backstage" Tour.
"Ed and Mary did a wonderful job with the 2007 Advanced Service Program," said APSP Director of Education Ken Suzuki. "They are dedicated volunteers who bring so much devotion and passion to APSP's efforts for making quality education available and accessible to the pool, spa, and hot tub industry," Suzuki added.
Ed Penfield is now the Chairman of the APSP Service Council, which will be putting together a new schedule of topics for the 2008 Advanced Service Program. Kim Skinner, Secretary of the Service Council, will be leading that effort this year. The program is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
