New APSP.org Offers Information Targeted to Key Groups

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals unveiled its new website, www.APSP.org, during the Volunteer Leadership Forum in October. The new site is designed to better provide updated information to the organization’s stakeholders–industry consumers, and the media.

The new website design allows for industry members, consumers, and media outlets to easily find pertinent information. The industry section includes information about membership, government relations, education, standards, and safety. All back issues of Industry Currents are housed in a searchable page here.

Coming soon is an APSP Member Resource Center, which will allow members to access information designed to help them build their business, learn about chapter and region events, and much more. Also in 2008, each APSP Council will have its own section on the site for information of special interest to their industry segments.

The consumer area, now more prominent on the site, includes a Member Locator that provides new business leads to members. Consumers will also find information about product benefits, safety facts, tips, and brochures.

There is also a media section that contains press releases, story ideas, and images for both trade and consumer media representatives to use.
