Public Review Announced for CA Title 24 Drafts
The California Energy Commission (CEC) has now posted drafts that are available so that the public may preview the development of the 2008 Building Energy Efficiency Standards’ 45-day language. The documents will be updated regularly. APSP continues to work on this issue through its advisory group.
The Title 24 work is part of a statewide effort to reduce California’s energy consumption. The CEC 2008 update to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards will include mandatory regulations on how a pool is to be built in California. The California standards are important because of their influence on the development of regulations in other states.
To view the drafts, go online to the California Energy Commission’s website and follow the instructions.
