Albert Rizzo to be Named First CBP of the Year

The APSP Builders Council will present its first CBP of the Year award to Albert Rizzo of Rizzo Pool Construction Company, Newington, Connecticut. The award will be given during the CBP Recognition Dinner, to be held Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in conjunction with the International Pool & Spa Expo in Orlando, Florida. Rizzo is being honored for his many years of outstanding service, notes Joe Vassallo, Chairman of the Builders Council Honors and Awards Committee.

The dinner also honors the growing number of CBP Certified Building Professionals® within the APSP organization. The CBP Certified Building Professional® certification program enhances the professional identity of the APSP builder member through an emphasis on high ethical standards, commitment to the highest standards of workmanship and construction, business stability, and superior customer relations.

All CBPs are invited to join their colleagues for an evening in their honor, with a complimentary dinner and an educational presentation by Vance Gillette of Jandy Pool Products, the evening’s sponsor. The dinner will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, South Concourse, Level S2, Room S230-C/D, in Orlando, Florida.

The APSP Builders Council is composed of APSP members who volunteer to advance the business, image, and welfare of APSP members.
