(ALEXANDRIA, VA) -  The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announces the appointments of two new members to its Board of Directors — Scott Frost, Senior Vice President of Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. and Jon Viner, President of Bio-Lab, Inc. The appointments bring the number of APSP directors to ten.

“We are honored to have Scott and Jon join our board of directors,” said Rich Gottwald, president and CEO of APSP. As we continue to move the industry forward, their experience will be an invaluable asset to APSP.”

Jon Viner is the president of Bio-Lab, Inc, the global Pool Chemical division of KIK Custom Products.  Prior to joining Bio-Lab in 2009, Viner was with Chemtura and served as the Vice President of Finance.  Prior to Chemtura, he held accounting and finance positions at ProcewaterhouseCoopers and with the Great Lakes Chemical Corporation.  He holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick (UK).

Scott Frost is the senior vice president of sales for Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc.  For over 25 years, he has held several positions with Zodiac including: Service Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. Prior to joining Zodiac Pool Systems Inc., he served in the United States Air Force and was in aviation maintenance management with Eastern Airlines.

“Each of these individuals will add great expertise and industry knowledge to APSP’s Board, as well as a proven commitment to the association,” said Rich Gottwald, president & CEO of APSP. “We are fortunate to have each of these outstanding individuals join the organization’s Board.”

With the appointments of Frost and Viner, APSP’s 2017-2018 board consists of ten members, including: Board Chair Chris Curcio of Litehouse Products; Board Chairman-Elect Donna Williams of Pool Corp; Board Secretary/Treasurer Maurizio Vozza of Nordic Products, Inc.; Richard Garbee of GLI Pool Products; Robert Blanda of Mill Bergen Pool Center; Jack Manilla of Portofino Pools; Jeanne Fec of Frank Lynn & Associates Ltd and Rich Gottwald of APSP.
