CNA PRESENTS WORLD OF RECREATIONAL WATER
FOUNDATION WITH $25,000 DONATION

501(c)(3) Promotes Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency Within Recreational Water

(ALEXANDRIA, VA) - Property and casualty insurance carrier CNA presented The World of Recreational Water Foundation (WRW) with a $25,000 donation.

To date, CNA has donated a total of $150,000 to the Foundation.

WRW’s mission is to foster the safe and responsible use of scare water resources and represent, defend and promote the sustainable use of recreational water. The foundation supports research into the conservation and energy-efficient use of recreational water, and underwrites education and training to advance recreational water environments for pools, spas and hot tubs worldwide. The WRW is the charitable foundation of The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP).

“CNA’s donation represents our continued commitment to the Pool and Spa community and strong support of The World of Recreational Water Foundation’s mission to promote and implement the sustainable use of recreational water,” said Brandon Elkins, CNA commercial director. “We take enormous pride in supporting organizations that strive to improve the quality of life in communities where CNA employees work and where CNA does business.”

“Because of CNA’s continued support of the World of Recreational Water Foundation, we are able to help educate the aquatic industry and the public on California drought issues,” APSP President and CEO Rich Gottwald said. “What’s more, their support over the years has enabled the creation of a new American National Standards Institute/APSP technical standard on water conservation that will help companies and the public preserve water for recreational purposes,” he added.
